“I am very pleased at the Riga Airport’s remarkable achievement – serving 50 million passengers. The number of passengers is continuing to increase, and I wish the airport to serve more than 5 million passengers this year. I thank the airport’s staff and management for their contribution, as well as the largest carrier at the airport, the national airline airBaltic that offers extensive travel opportunities from Riga,” emphasised Minister for Transport of Latvia Anrijs Matīss.
Andris Liepiņš, Riga airport Chairman of the Board: “Our joint effort and work has fostered a steady growth in the number of passengers served at the airport.
